If I recall things right the Americans kind of inherited the war from the Frensh and were there by forced in to an armed conflict. Furthermore I would like to say that a human life is always a human life and civilian or not does not change that. Whether USA were in vietnam to combat communism or not I don't care, but keep your foul language to yourself
