Don't assume. We all know what that leads to. Do you not realize that it was the same in both directions? That the Vietnamese wouldn't hesitate to kill an American either? It was a bad situation both ways. Granted, they were fighting for "freedom", but is war the only way to go to get that freedom? Taking a life is gaining freedom? Don't get on a high horse and preach about "killing" or get sarcastic. You can't possibly know what was going through peoples minds as they pulled that trigger. It was the same for both sides. Most of the problem is that people like you won't let go of what was right and wrong. The war is over, the lives were lost. Now it's time to focus on remembering those who were there. Time to make up for the disrespect that they were given when they got home. Time to stop the war on our own soil. Using hateful words and accusations when you don't know what they went through isn't growing....stop reverting and face the real issues.
