You don't know...

How can you say this? you have no clue at all. Can you not see that for so many of us survival and freedom were one and the same? My mother and father had never, ever tasted an ounce of freedom, but wanted it so dearly for me and my brothers. you just don't understand, freedom, it was like an epidemic. We wanted it so badly... How can I explain it? Trust me, freedom is so dear to those of us who never had it.
