To all those God fearing, government loving citizens of the United States... I offer you this: Howard Zinn's book - The People's History Of The United States Of America. Read it. Freedom of Speech is not given to us by any government, therefore we should not thank those policy makers with their little fingers on the "button" for getting involved in a war we instigated. I don't believe that any intelligent person who has done their research on the Vietnam Conflict would justify any of these immature and irrational responses with one stroke of the key. I'm writing for my father who did two tours in Vietnam and ended his life before seeing his youngest son graduate form high school. Our government does not recognize him as a casualty of the war, although it was the war that eventually consumed him with flashbacks and nightmares that he could no longer escape. He may have taken an easy way out, but who are we to judge anybody for their beliefs, and yet we condone those of our government. Open your mind and your eyes.
