What Women and Children

Some of these responses make it look like we did nothing but run around the jungle committing rape and killing children. How did we ever have time to fight the Damn war. I was in the central highlands fighting the NVA regulars out of Cambodia. To the best of my personal knowledge, not one rape was committed by my company, Co C, 1/12 Inf, during my year in country nor did we kill any children. We just tried our best to stay alive to come home. Ritous indignation may have it's place, and I'n not going to tell you it didn't happen but we ALL didn't do it. There will always be a fiew maniacs in any group but Please don't blame the whole Army for the actions of just a very fiew.
