"Go Tell The Spartans"

This is a very good movie about the early days of the war starring Burt Lancaster. While based on a novel; the intentions of the film-makers are beyond criticism. While they may have taken a few liberties regarding accuracy; the overall effect is excellent considerng that this movie was possibly the first to address the Viet Nam war; long before the better known ones by major studios and big name directors. If you can find this movie; watch it.
