Dear Sir, The Vietnam War Happened when I was still in Infancy as a professional photographer. Through the years , as I have grown professionally - and emotionallly, I realise that much of my inspiration to see the world has come abt. through the extremely strong images of the "war" that I let slip . Vietnam was a sad war; a war that the Americans and their allies could not win. It really wasn't their war. It was a war fought by the "Upper Ups". I greive for the boys who were lost. Some of them are now my heros. Sean Flynn, Tim Page,Eddie Adams, Terance Khoo and Sam Kai Fey (both Singaporeans - but rebels in their time and I proudly salute them!!!) I did have the honour of being an aquiantiace of Khoo who in his hey days, gave me my first 35mm Nikon wide angle lens. Today, Sir, I am an accomplished and respected professional photographer working for an extremely big and powerful publishing house and heading their Photo Dept. I wish I could have been there. War is never plesant but recording it besides yr. heroes... that's something else. To all you war photograhers out there.. SALUTE' ....gimme a job fashion and all this rubbish just don't cut it... they just don't make photographers like they used too alan
