info on vietnam today

Hi, I was just over in Vietnam and Laos this year for 8 weeks. Very interesting and very easy to do..you will wonder why you never came earlier. It is cheap to..I can put you in touch with a Vietnamese English prof to guide you around. He lives in Saigon and was a translator for Thieu and Ky during the war. I became good friends with him and can vouch for him. I went Saigon, into the Delta, Central Highlands, Nha trang (nice beach if you never got there before) and the DMZ. They have a pretty good DMZ day tour out of Hue. Spent a few days in Hanoi. These people are real friendly..but hold on to your bag when riding in Saigon traffic. Safe trip and I cna put you on to some cheap safe places to stay.
