I just want you to know the mass location is true. A lot of my friends were forced out of their homes and moved to a remote area. They have to depend on themselves alone. Their houses were then occupied by the party-member ones from the north. This policy was called : "Kinh Te^' mo*'i" , roughly translated as New Economy. Most of the people, whose houses were robbed, have something to do with the south gorverment like military, gorverment officials. About the mass goecide, there was none...but do you count labor camps dotted around the country ? My father and uncles were forced to work until dead on these camps. My father and my uncles were military officers of the fallen South. The north promised the "re-education" only lasted 7 days. To my uncle, it have lasted 15 years without a day in court. You should ask, just don't look around and come up with such a childish and shallow conclusion. I heard everything is getting better now.
