Catalog Description: 

Diagnostic and prescriptive teaching model covering critical skill areas of leadership and management.
Overview: 
The course Leadership and Management Assessment is designed to develop the skills and techniques to both lead and manage individuals, groups, departments and units. The course explores a variety of approaches tested and validated in both the private and public sector. Although emphasis is placed on practice sufficient exploration of all relevant theories is included.
Course Objectives: 

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to- 

1. Apply theoretical & NCATE standards to cases and simulations.

2. Demonstrate an understanding of a variety of leadership models as demonstrated by thier ability to respond to cases and simulations.

3.. When given a theoretical framework, to be able to

apply that framework to a real life situation.
