Catalog Description: 

An examination of the organizational processes and structures which impact on school

administration. 3 credits

 

Overview: 

Emphasis will be placed on the process of applying theoretical frames to the school environment.
Course Objectives: 

1. To be able to compare and contrast various organizational theories and designs.

2. To be able to identify, discriminate and then evaluate effective organizational skills and techniques.

3. Given an organizational challenge, all students will be able to analyze the scope of the problem and identify appropriate responses in relation to its impact and effect on teaching and learning as determined by their performance on teacher made exercises.
