How to Submit/What to Submit:
While the fast-paced world has quickly taken a liking to Weblogs, this cite is designed to provide a space for longer, more substantive responses. While blogs are a great innovation and facilitate meaningful exchanges, we would like to encourage our participants to take the time necessary to reflect and compose concise essays as opposed to the ad hoc and less formal pieces often posted to Blogs. However, we have provided a discussion forum for those wishing to post brief, immediate responses.
We are hoping for concise, critical essays that raise questions or expose oversights within news and/or journal articles. Of course, responses to announced foreign policies, economic policies, etc, are welcome, as are other pieces based on sources we have not listed here. Essays should be no shorter than 1 page and no longer than 5 pages (see examples). Again, articles simply espousing the opposing point of view without hard evidence or specific responses to another piece will not be accepted. If you are responding to someone else’s work, please remain professional and collegial in your tone.
