IN-CLASS PROJECTS
Computer assignments will be performed during class as noted in the lecture schedule below.  Assignments are due immediately following class.  Students need to bring their computers to class on these days.  Be certain computer batteries are charged.

LAB REPORTS
The Protista and Nervous System Labs will involve experiments for which students will write laboratory reports.  Information on report preparation will be provided in class.  Two or three students may work together on an experiment, but each must submit a separate report.  Reports are due the following week.  The 1st report is worth 30 points, the second 40 points.  Students need to bring their computers for these two labs.

QUIZZES
Quizzes will be given at the beginning of  each laboratory except the first one.  Questions will be on the previous lab and the current one.   Seven quizzes, 10 points each, will be counted toward a student's final grade.  Students should prepare by reading the laboratory manual ahead of time.
