Zooming into the Mandelbrot Set (4)

This is the fourth zoom into the Mandelbrot set. You can
clearly see a small version of the original set, but it looks somewhat different.
That is what self-similar means. Zooming into other regions generates other, interesting looking pictures. There is a lot of mathematics hidden in fractals, and in "Complex Analysis" you would explore some of that mathematics in detail. |
