Math 1015: Pre-Calculus

Topics covered: The real number system, functions, polynomial functions and equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions (graphs, applications, identities and equations), analytic geometry.

Prerequisite: MATH 1014 (or appropriate placement)

Note: We will make extensive use of the computer algebra package Maple. Please ensure that you have that software installed. Call the Help Desk at x 2222 if you need assistance.

We will also use a software package called Dyknow Vision. Please download and install that package.
